The “crooked lake” rental hut is situated near Lake Kõvera, Võru municipality, Võru County. A perfect place for a lakeside holiday.
NB! At the forest house, you can meet the neighbor's friendly dogs (Malamutes). If the dogs bother you, please call the owner +372 5061141.
Amenities:
The hut sleeps 9. A fireplace room, WC and sauna on the first floor. Sleeping on mattresses on the floor, guests must bring their bedding. Basic kitchen area, wood-burning stove and oven. A shelter with a table, benches, outdoor fireplace and smoke oven outside. No drinking water.

Parking near the hut for 3 to 4 cars.
Sights:
A perfect place for a lakeside holiday. Among the attractions of the area is Meenikunno Landscape Protection Area, Ilumetsa meteorite craters, Rebasemäe spring, the Piusa Primeval Valley, Piusa Museum Caves and Piusa Pottery “Savikoda”.
Winter accessibility:
Access road to the forest hut is kept clear of snow.
For winter use a warm winter hiking equipment (sleeping, mat etc) is needed.
Driving directions:
Drive on Räpina–Koidula road to Soe. At the junction near the bus stop, turn towards Orava and drive about 3 km and follow the sign “Kõverajärve metsamaja”. Drive about 1.7 km and arrive at the rental hut.
Additional information:
Tent camping (up to 6 person) is allowed only for booked guests of the rental hut, price 5 € per person. Pet - 5€ per night.
RMK rental huts are locked cottages mainly for the hikers who plan their hike more thoroughly. A rental hut provides the privacy for the user and therefore a “key fee” must be paid.
As a user of Forest House you should know the following:
1) The Forest House is open only at pre-booked times
2) The estimated time of use is from 14.00 to 12.00 the following day
3) The number of users of the house is 9 people due to fire safety requirements
4) Persons under the age of 18 can book and use the hut only together with an adult
5) The user must leave the equipment and the house clean when they leave
6) The user returns the key to the caretaker of the house at the agreed time
