Sitting on this boulder, Juta longed for her beloved one.

Driving directions:

Drive 60 km along the Tartu–Piibe road and turn left on Kärde hill, (follow the sign "Kärde") and drive around Kärde Rahumaja (“Peace House”). Then turn left, drive about 1 km until the road branches. Keep to the right and continue about 2 km to a wood stand, turn right and drive about 50 m to the information board. Park the car by the road in front of the information board (NB: the road may not be easily passable). Walk along Lake Endla hiking trail to Lake Endla. Turn right and proceed along the lakeshore to the rental hut (about 3 km from the information board). Alternatively, you can access the hut from Tooma, first along Männikjärv bog study trail, then along the Mustjõgi riverbank along Lake Endla hiking trail to Lake Endla (about 5 km in total).

Additional information:

RMK rental huts are locked cottages mainly for the hikers who plan their hike more thoroughly. A rental hut provides the privacy for the user and therefore a “key fee” must be paid.
